Shelter, reminiscent of a traditional mountain hut, acts as a symbol of protection and survival. It creates a retreat for contemplation and reflection, filtering the outside world through a natural canopy that entwines with the life of a hard working timber worker.

I believe if we truly want to fix the city then we need to embrace the role of the Architectural Fixer.

The Architect must become the Fixer, and as such must stringently adhere to the Fixers Handbook.  The prophecy which outlines the Fix Up City and the genesis to the three keys of the Fix Up Faith.

Acoustic Metamorphose

Transformed from a wave of sound to a wave of light the Acoustic Metamorphose dances and springs throughout the space. Enlivened by its reaction to its immediate environment a map of its path disappears before you while a new form immediately takes its place. Rotating on axis this 3 dimensional frolic creates a hypnotic osmosis of shape and form as a direct representation of the sound it overhears.

Transflective Waterscapes

Mimicking the currents of wind and water a Transflective Lawn rises gracefully from the river. Swaying in sync to the metronome of its inherited backdrop, poetic arcs dance and shimmer through the filtered setting sun.

The concept of the city pet is to create a living structure that decomposes the food waste in the city- while acting as a pet for the users to feed and observe the organism growing in customised directions

I propose that we re-propagate the City of Darwin. Not in an attempt to counteract its current lush and verdant landscapes but in an attempt to disrupt the conflict between the current states of the natural and built environments.
